Common questions
What counts as one generation?
One generation = one complete ebook or one complete blog post — 1 credit regardless of format (Starter Guide vs Complete Playbook) or article length. Keyword research, competition analysis, and the chapter outline preview do not use a credit. Credits are only deducted when the full generation completes successfully.
What is the competition analysis?
When you click any keyword card during research, DraftMill instantly pulls the top-ranking digital download listings from Etsy for that keyword and analyses them. You see a keyword difficulty score (1–100), the typical price range, average favourites of top sellers, a summary of what's winning, and a specific gap opportunity a new seller could fill. This is available on every plan including free — it doesn't use a credit.
What files do I get for each ebook?
Every ebook produces three files: a formatted .docx (editable in Word or Google Docs), a print-ready PDF with a title page and table of contents (ready to sell as-is), and a Canva Cover Design Brief with specific hex codes, fonts, and layout guidance for building your cover.
Do unused credits roll over?
No — credits reset on your monthly renewal date. This keeps pricing simple and predictable. If you're consistently under-using your credits, downgrade on your next renewal date.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately — your credit balance updates right away. Downgrades apply at your next renewal date so you keep your current allowance until then.
