Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DraftMill at draftmill.co ("Service"), operated by DraftMill ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

DraftMill is an AI-powered content creation tool that helps you research keywords and generate ebooks and blog posts. The Service uses the Anthropic Claude API to produce written content based on your inputs.

Content is generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking all generated content before publishing or selling it.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@draftmill.co if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make purchases.

3. Plans and Credits

DraftMill offers a Free plan and paid monthly subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Agency). Each paid plan includes a fixed number of generation credits per billing month.

4. Payments and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing you authorise Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account page. You retain access to your current plan until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase of any paid plan. To request a refund within this window, email support@draftmill.co. Refunds after 7 days are at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DraftMill to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

6. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You own the content you generate using DraftMill. We claim no ownership over your ebooks, articles, or any other output.

By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process and temporarily store your inputs and outputs solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.

DraftMill, its logo, and all platform design elements are our intellectual property. You may not use them without written permission.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by DraftMill is produced by artificial intelligence and is provided "as is". We make no warranties that generated content is accurate, original, free from errors, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for how you use, publish, or sell generated content.

It is your responsibility to ensure generated content complies with applicable laws and platform policies (e.g. Etsy, Amazon, your blog host).

8. Availability and Changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Where practical, we will give advance notice of significant changes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DraftMill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DraftMill operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
